What happened in Tombstone Arizona?

Here’s what happened in Tombstone Arizona. After breakfast, we hit the road. I was pretty excited because we were headed to Tombstone, Arizona. When Tombstone came out, I saw it at least 10 times on the big screen. I fell in love with that movie and it was a new kind of love for me. I’m not a huge fan of western movies, but let’s be real here. If it wasn’t for Val Kilmer, I don’t know if I would have loved that movie as much as I did.

Things to do in Tombstone Arizona

For 18 years, I’ve wanted to visit Tombstone Arizona. In high school, history was ok, but the older I get the more I love it. When I met my best friend, Jerry, aside from Graceland, Tombstone was the place that we were gonna take a road trip to. I would call him Wyatt and make sure he knew I was Doc. So, we headed out. Sheena was so excited, she passed out.

After a short drive, we arrived in Tombstone. I felt like a kid at Disneyland. We parked right outside a shop that had a sign offering the opportunity to shoot an old timey gun. I was in, it was a steal for only $3. I had 6 shots to take at a wood cutout of a human, I aimed for the head and hit twice. I’m not sure if the store owner was just happy that someone was in there or if I’m really that good, but he was said, “Oh! Headshot, good job, those are hard!”.  He had no Idea that I was in the boy scouts and went for my shooting badge.

I saw a guy dressed like a Cowboy, anyone who’s seen Tombstone, know’s that you can tell a cowboy by the Red Sash they wear. Another guy walked passed me, dressed in character letting me know there was a stunt show about to happen and I could by contacts. I asked him if he was a cowboy and he said yes, I asked where his red sash was, he looked confused and the said. “The only thing I know about cows is that they taste good.” I smiled and gave a fake laugh. This guy didn’t know his stuff. We headed towards Allen St. I was almost overwhelmed. I saw this sign and had to take a shot.

We headed over to the visitor info center. I asked questions like, “If I wanted to go have a drink where the Earp Brothers had a drink where would I go?” The guy seemed amused and told me to head over to the Crystal Palace Saloon. So we did, we decided against eating there because it was pretty small, so we went over to Big Nose Kate Saloon. As we exited the building I saw this sign.

We had the Big Nose Kate’s Salon version of the Carl’s Jr Western Bacon Cheese Burger. There was even a live band!

When I went to the restroom I saw this sign. It says “The ice in this bathroom is hardly ever used in the making of our drinks” I decided to leave the ice filled Urinal out of the pic.
